<ns5:p>We present a genome assembly from an individual male <ns5:italic>Agriopis leucophaearia</ns5:italic> (the Spring Usher; Arthropoda; Insecta; Lepidoptera; Geometridae). The genome sequence has a total length of 491.30 megabases. Most of the assembly is scaffolded into 31 chromosomal pseudomolecules, including the Z sex chromosome. The mitochondrial genome has also been assembled and is 16.7 kilobases in length. Gene annotation of this assembly on Ensembl identified 17,449 protein-coding genes.</ns5:p>
