<ns3:p>We present a genome assembly from an individual male Straw Grass-veneer moth, <ns3:italic>Agriphila straminella</ns3:italic> (Arthropoda; Insecta; Lepidoptera; Crambidae). The genome sequence has a length of 511.50 megabases. Most of the assembly is scaffolded into 26 chromosomal pseudomolecules, including the Z sex chromosome. The mitochondrial genome has also been assembled and is 15.36 kilobases in length. Gene annotation of this assembly on Ensembl identified 12,087 protein-coding genes.</ns3:p>
