Indonesia's leading freight forwarding industry seeks to optimize shipping and fuel costs, with a daily mileage of 1,607,100 KM. The main problem faced by companies providing freight forwarding services is to determine the expected shipping costs in order to increase the efficiency and profit of the company. Can be categorized as a mileage constraint in determining the delivery route and has many solutions that can be applied to get the optimal or closest route distance. Genetic algorithm is a computational method used to select solutions that are suitable and effective with criteria without having to check all possible distances. From the evaluation results using the genetic algorithm method can get a total distance of 1,521,000 KM with fuel cost savings of Rp 493,844 per day. From this research is expected to get the most optimal distance and can reduce fuel costs in the delivery process
