This study aims to improve the ability to recognize children's letters through alfabelt animation media in children aged 4 – 5 years at ABA Klemunan Kindergarten. This research subject is class A students totaling 10 students. The type of research used is class action research. Data collection techniques in this study were carried out through observation, , interview and documentation techniques. The indicator of success in this study is the success of student learning in recognizing letters reaching 75%. The results of the research obtained in each cycle showed an increase in children's ability to recognize letters from the initial condition or pre-cycle which got a percentage of success of 32%, then increased by 60% in cycle I to cycle II which increased to a percentage of success of 84%. Thus it can be concluded that through alfabelt animation media can improve children's ability to recognize letters.
