Two new genera and one new species of Tegonotini (Acari: Eriophyoidea) from China are described and illustrated. They are Multispinacarus dimocarpi gen. nov. & sp. nov. infesting Dimocarpus longan Lour. (Sapindaceae), Alvetegonotus callerya gen. nov. & sp. nov. infesting Callerya tsui (F. P. Metcalf) Z. Wei & Pedley. (Fabaceae), and Shevtchenkella sterculiae sp. nov. infesting Sterculia euosma W. W. Smith. (Malvaceae). These new species were found to be vagrants on the lower leaf surface of their associated plants, albeit with no apparent damage observed.
