Luminescent radicals are gathering attention as fourth generation luminescent material for OLED applications and other applications such as bioimaging and quantum sensing. 1,2 TTM (tris(2,4,6-trichlorophenyl)-methyl) radicals are the most popular luminescent radicals but suffer from low photostability. The attachment of donor units, such as carbazole, can enhance the photostability and increase the photoluminescence quantum yield (PLQY). 3 In this lecture, recent results from our group will be presented, and methods to increase the PLQY and photostability of luminescent radicals will be discussed. 4,5,6 [1] Q.
