Present study deals with physicochemical analysis of drinking water of various villages of shahera tehsil.50 Samples were collected from different villages of shahera Tehsil Panchmahal, Gujarat. From which 20 Samples were analyzed.Samples from the same location were collected twice for the comparative study, first batch was collected in November'2021 and second batch in March'2022.Seven physicochemical parameters such as Colour, Odour, pH, conductivity, alkalinity, TDS, and Chloride were analyzed. Results of the above physicochemical analysis revealed that total alkalinity and pH of the samples was found to be within the standard limit. The conductivity of eight samples (sample Nos.2,5,6,8,14,15,18,20) from batch 1 and from batch 2 also eight samples (2,4,5,6,8,14,15,18) were found to exceed the standard limit.TDS of seven samples (2,5,8,14,15,18,20) from batch 1 and the same seven samples from batch 2 were found to exceed the limit.A comparative study of the samples shown that there is a significant increase in alkalinity from November to March and a moderate decrease in chloride was observed in the same period.
