The present work investigates the complex geometry of the architecture and its performance properties from bioclimatic aspects, using parametric modeling and thermal simulation techniques on two types of surfaces. Such surfaces are used in architectural reference cases, mainly for their structural performance properties. The premise is that by explaining a structure of knowledge integrated between such approaches, it contributes to the teaching of architecture, through activities that seek to go beyond the representation itself and advance towards a broader understanding of the role of geometry in the project of architecture.
