This study presents an urban environmental diagnosis of the Manoela Valadares neighborhood, located in the municipality of Afogados da Ingazeira, in the Pajeu Valley - PE, Brazil, based on land use and occupation and their implications for environmental balance. The methodology applied for the area analysis consists of data collection, organization using a SWOT matrix, graphical scenario projection, and proposal of development guidelines.
