RETRACTION: Exploiting Cu+–Na+ Ion‐exchanged and Ar/H2 Annealed Glass Matrix to Synthesize Copper Nanoparticles

Farah, “Exploiting Cu + –Na + Ion‐exchanged and Ar/H 2 Annealed Glass Matrix to Synthesize Copper Nanoparticles,” Journal of the American Ceramic Society (Early View): https://doi.org/10.1111/jace.19507 . The above article, published online on October 24, 2023 in Wiley Online Library ( wileyonlinelibrary.com ), has been retracted by agreement between the journal Editor‐in‐Chief, John C. Mauro; the American Ceramic Society; and John Wiley & Sons, Inc. The retraction has been agreed upon following an investigation into concerns raised by a third party, which revealed significant redundancy in primary data and simultaneous submission with another published article by an overlapping group of authors elsewhere. Such publishing practice is against the journal's policy and Wiley's Best Practice Guidelines on Research Integrity and Publishing Ethics. The authors were informed of the decision to retract but did not agree to the retraction or the wording.
