Recent advancements in anti-resonant hollow-core fiber design have yielded fibers with ultra-low loss. However, preserving polarization alongside low-loss performance remains a challenge. Our study explores different fiber geometries, revealing an achievable birefringence of 2x10^-5 and minimal confinement loss (< 10 dB/km). These enhanced types of fiber designs hold promise for transformative applications in optical and quantum communication networks and sensing.
