Abstract The paper presents the Text+ Registry as a central system to describe and catalogue different kinds of resources. Using the example of editions and edition projects, desiderata and challenges regarding their discoverability are outlined, and the data model to cater for the wide range of different types of editions is described. With its overarching and flexible approach, the Text+ Registry is a versatile and flexible technical component, designed for future expansion and broad connectivity.
