The indispensable function of Human Resource Information Systems (HRIS) in facilitating Human Resource Management (HRM) activities via information technology for the supervision of human resources within an organization is paramount. This research aims to evaluate the effectiveness of an HRIS within a manufacturing firm in Indonesia, employing the methodology of Exploratory Factor Analysis (EFA).The research leverages the IT Balanced Scorecard and HRM functions as integral instruments.A survey encompassing 185 employees utilizing the HRIS application was conducted. The findings pinpoint four factors that significantly influence HRIS performance: lack of information quality, information systems integration, ease of application use, and IT division support.Notably, the ease of use of the application system emerges as a substantial determinant impacting HRIS performance, while inadequacies in information quality evoke widespread grievances regarding the existing HRIS application. This investigation augments scholarly understanding by uncovering outcomes that signify the potential effectiveness of HRIS in manufacturing companies under optimal conditions.Furthermore, the identified factors can serve as valuable insights for augmenting HRIS performance in subsequent contexts.
