Cu‐Catalyzed Synthesis of Coumarin‐1,2,3‐Triazole Hybrids connected with Quinoline or Pyridine Framework**

Coumarin‐1,2,3‐triazole hybrids connected to quinoline or pyridine framework have been synthesized in good to excellent yield by the 1,3‐dipolar azide alkyne cycloaddition reaction (CuACC) of 4‐azidocoumarin with propargyl quinoline or propargyl pyridine derivatives in the presence of CuSO 4 .5H 2 O or CuI as catalyst. Similar reaction of 4‐azidocoumarin or tetrazolo[1,5‐a]pyridine with 4‐propargyloxycoumarin and 4‐propargylaminocoumarin resulted in the synthesis of the corresponding coumarin‐1,2,3‐triazole hybrids. Some preliminary screening test for some biological activities of new compounds have been performed.
