Formation of the Future Music Teachers’ Semiotic Competence in the Context of Cultural and Axiological Approaches

The educational space, in particular the artistic space, requires a significant renewal currently. In order to strengthen of the students' professional training of higher education in the field of art and music, as well as further practical realization of the youth's potential in the conditions of modern educational requirements, it is expedient to involve the musical semiotics principles in the analytical and musicological dimension of the educational process of future music teachers. Therefore, semiotic competence is a new and important component of the professional education of highly qualified teachers-musicians. In order to create the basic theoretical provisions, which are necessary for investigation of music teachers' semiotic competence in the future, it is important to single out the necessary methodological approaches. The purpose of the research is the investigation of two main methodological approaches – cultural and axiological – in accordance with the stated problems. As a result of the analysis of the concepts «cultural approach» and «axiological approach» from the philosophical, cultural, pedagogical, music-pedagogical point of view, the expediency of using these scientific approaches for research and implementation of the results in the mechanisms of forming the semiotic competence of future music teachers has been proven. The involvement of a number of methodological approaches (for example hermeneutic) seems to be high-potential for researching the issues of semiotic competence of future specialists in the field of music pedagogy. It will enable to create the most complete methodological base for researching the problems of musical semiotics and semiotic competence in the conditions of music-theoretical training (educational disciplines: «Music analysis», «Solfeggio», «Harmony», «Music theory» and even «Music history» as a basement and a quintessence most professional training courses) of future music teachers.
