This study aimed to verify the mediating effect of calling in the relationship between the experiences of violence and job satisfaction and to find ways to improve job satisfaction among care workers. For this purpose, the data from 558 care workers were analyzed. For data analysis, frequency analysis, descriptive statistical analysis, reliability analysis, and correlation analysis were conducted using the SPSS 27.0. Hierarchical regression analysis was performed using Baron & Kenny(1986)'s three-step method to examine the mediating effects and the statistical significance verification of the mediating effect was confirmed through the Sobel Test. The research results are as follows. First, the experience of violence had a negative effect on the calling. Second, the experience of violence had a negative effect on job satisfaction. Third, the calling partially mediated the effect of violence experiences on job satisfaction. Based on these results, measures were discussed to reduce the experience of violence and improve calling and job satisfaction of care workers.
