This article explores the concept of time and raises the question of the immediate content of time in terms of durations – intense forces confronting each other. The author of this article proposes a project of returning emptiness and the topic of nothingness to philosophy. For this purpose, the author proposes to look at those aspects of time that are usually overshadowed by continuity – the moments of slices and overlaps of durations, which form any reality only as chips of such contacts. This reactualizes the question of the nature of necessity and possibility as different in nature aspects of time, and also states the convergence of Deleuze's and Meillassoux's projects in terms of the virtual. In the end, the «Time Machine» is rediscovered as a «realiser» of nothingness, the ultimate boundary states and individuation of the void, a kind of clinamen, which initially becomes an «eclipsed» carrier of the knowledge of «being-without-us». The central issue in the explication of Metatime is the question of the conditions of novelty, which the author sees in emptiness, in gaps – sources of redundancy. In the context of continuity and discreteness of time, the author suggests a project of udenology oriented towards the resolution through the operation of metaxis, a kind of inconsistency with itself, or being-between.
