The article presents the results of theoretical and practical research on ensuring the safety of operators of diagnostic posts, maintenance and repair of agricultural machinery. The analysis of the situation in the implementation of these works is carried out on the basis of the proposed logical schematic diagram of providing consumers with food, where the role of the listed measures with the use of electromechanization means in food production is noted. The peculiarity of the types of activity under consideration was taken into account with the understanding that agricultural production is the base (source) of food supply for the population, i.e. essentially (with a few exceptions) raw materials in the form of products of crop production, animal husbandry, poultry farming, horticulture and other sub-sectors. Analytical dependencies in the form of parameter functions are obtained, which are determined by occupational safety in agricultural structures when using electromechanization tools in operations to restore their operability through diagnosis, maintenance and repair not only within the amortization periods of use. Examples of innovative author's solutions to the problems under consideration (professional selection) are given human resources, diagnostic methods, devices for effective maintenance and repair of engineering equipment.
