Presented paper discuss feasibility of matrix converter adaptation in dynamic wireless power transfer charging line. The key behaviour of matrix one phase to one phase converter and three phase to one phase converter are presented to get topologies and parameters for adaptation. Get matrix converter features are discussed regarding to the wireless power transfer and dynamic electromobility charging needs. Feasibility of power topology and control approach are discussed as well. Finally, dynamic charging system adapting matrix converter is compared to the conventional topology using active rectifier and inverter in a series. Knowledge taken from the literatures and theoretical discussion is verified by matlab-simulink simulations. At the end, feasibility study decision is done in conclusion.
