Optimizing Professional Practice in Biomedical Engineering: A Path to Efficient and Innovative Progress

The article addresses the need for practical experience for students of Biomedical Engineering to enhance the educational process. Practical training was incorporated into the academic curriculum in the 2016/2017 academic year. The text delves into the gradual increase in students' interest in gaining practical experience outside the university environment. It also describes the institutions students choose and where they complete their practical training within Slovakia. Based on this information, a web application was developed where students can access a list of institutions offering practical training opportunities.
