10 years of ISO 55000 standards: overview and development of the asset management ecosystem

The implementation of a management system for an organization's production assets in accordance with the requirements of the ISO 55000 series standards ultimately implies the implementation of a kind of management “ecosystem”, in which standards are only one of the elements. Numerous international projects contribute to the development of the asset management ecosystem. Without aiming to cover all of these projects, this article describes a few of them.
