The novel Voltage-Oriented Maximum Power Point Tracking (VO MPPT) technique is presented in this paper. It combines an adaptive integral-derivative sliding mode control (AIDSM) based on suggested external voltage control with the conventional Perturb and Observe (P&O) approach. The use of integral and derivative terms is intended to improve the sliding surface while reducing steady-state variability and avoiding overshooting during sudden changes in solar energy. The method also includes an adaptive system that modifies controller gains based on varying radiation levels. The effectiveness of the suggested MPPT is assessed by simulations that make use of real-world data and MATLAB/SimulinkTM. The outcomes show outstanding dynamic capability, especially when it comes to reacting quickly to variations in radiation.
