The article discusses the features of the training of master managers in the Russian higher education system. The main trends influencing the training of managers of a ne w format for business structures have been identified. The problems in the formation of analytical (reflexive) competencies are outlined. The main provisions for improving the learning process in order to master the analytical competencies of master managers are formulated.
