Background.Traumatic optic neuropathy is a disturbance of visual functions due to direct or indirect damage to the optic nerve as a result of traumatic exposure. Purpose. To evaluate the effectiveness of magnetic and color stimulation in the prevention of traumatic optic neuropathy. Material and methods. To solve the tasks set in the work, 60 (60 eyes) were examined, of which they were patients with hemodynamic changes according to Doppler ultrasound after an injury to the middle zone of the face. Depending on the treatment, the following representative groups were identified for patients: control, 1st, 2nd, the last two constituted the main group of patients examined. Patients in the control group received conservative treatment. Patients of the 1st main group – received the treatment used in the control group, but instead of local magnetic stimulation. Patients of the 2nd main group – received the treatment used in the 1st main group, but instead of local color stimulation. Results.Combined physiotherapeutic and combined ophthalmologic conservative treatment of the patients of the main group showed a reliable improvement of hemodynamic parameters. Conclusion. The use of color and magnetic stimulation in combination with traditional conservative therapeutic measures in the prevention of traumatic optic neuropathy increased the effectiveness of therapeutic measures. This method allows you to more effectively improve and stabilize the important functions of the patient.
