The article reveals certain aspects of the popularisation of scientific knowledge as a relevant direction of education of modern secondary school students. Using the example of a chemical experiment and 3D modelling within the master class system at the summer camp, some techniques for integrating education with science and technology are shown. The implementation of interdisciplinary links between chemistry and related fields of knowledge is considered as the subject basis for solving applied problems of various kinds - from scientific to everyday.
