Abstract The primary thing considered while designing an aircraft is to find the right proportion of the vehicle weight and payload. Spars, ribs, and stringers are the main structural components of the aircraft wing. In this paper, the rib is designed using the CATIA solid modelling software with different geometrical optimization and is then analyzed in ANSYS. Aluminium Alloy 7075 and Glass fiber were the materials considered during the analysis. Modal, Structural and Fatigue analysis were performed on the object to determine the natural frequencies, stresses developed, and max. number of cycles a material can withstand respectively.
