Neurofibromas, benign tumors arising from peripheral nerves, are a relatively common clinical entity, often associated with neurofibromatosis. However, their occurrence in the tongue is notably rare. In this case report, we present the clinical findings and management of a 27-year-old female patient who was referred to the oral and maxillofacial unit due to a lump on the right-side lateral border of her tongue, which had been present for two years and had recently increased in size. This case highlights the significance of a comprehensive evaluation, taking into account the patient's medical history, physical examination findings, and the imperative need for a precise diagnosis. A precise diagnosis not only aids in understanding the rare presentation of neurofibroma in the tongue but also guides tailored treatment strategies. This case serves as a reminder of the importance of considering unusual manifestations of neurofibromas and the value of a multidisciplinary approach to their diagnosis and management.
