This study aims to determine the effect of 12 weeks of plyometric training on the explosive power, agility, and isokinetic lower limb muscle function of Taekwondo free-poomsae players. The subjects of this study were 40 college Taekwondo free poomsae players, and we randomly divided them into a plyometric training group (experimental group, 20 people) and a general free poomsae training group (control group, 20 people). All subjects measured explosive power, agility, and isokinetic lower limb muscle function before and after 12 weeks of training. As a result of the study, 12 weeks of plyometric training significantly improved the vertical jump (explosive power) and whole-body reaction speed (agility) of Taekwondo free poomsae players.
