College dance education is an important facet of art education, bearing the responsibility of nurturing well-rounded dance talents.Dance, as a carrier of ideological connotation and emotional expression, is often utilized by individuals to experience the allure of art, enhance their aesthetic sensibility, and cultivate artistic appreciation.However, in the process of dance education in universities, it is deeply influenced by traditional educational thinking, focusing on students' theoretical learning and skill improvement, while neglecting the enhancement of artistic creativity and aesthetic ability.In the context of educational reform, traditional dance education in universities must undergo innovative reforms to meet the increasingly diverse needs and deep-seated educational goals of students.This article is based on the context of educational reform and focuses on studying the innovation of dance education in universities, specifically exploring the learning experiences of students.Starting with educational reform, this study explores new opportunities for innovation in dance education at universities, elaborates on teaching methods in dance education at universities, and identifies the limitations of innovation in dance education at universities.Finally, it explores the path of innovation in dance education at universities to establish a three-dimensional, multi-dimensional, and practical education system.
