The design of traditional multi-beam survey line technology can no longer meet people's needs for high-precision seabed terrain layout. Traditional algorithms and models have limitations in measurement accuracy. This paper studies key issues in multi-beam bathymetry systems and achieves high accuracy and full coverage of seafloor topographic data by increasing the number of beams. Through in-depth research on issues such as coverage width, overlap rate, and survey line layout, this paper determines key indicators such as seawater depth, transducer opening angle, and distance from the measuring line to the center point, and establishes algebraic equations. Taking into account geometric relationships and constraints, single-objective optimization is achieved, and the final model complies with the regulations in the Hydrographic Code (GB12327-2022). The research results emphasize the influence of seawater depth on the coverage width of survey lines and demonstrate the topographic characteristics under different survey line directions.
