The rapid advancement of semiconductor technology has revolutionized analog-to-digital electronics circuits, enabling faster speeds, high yield, compact size, and low operating power levels, which are crucial for next-generation electronics. Analog-to-digital converters (ADCs) find numerous applications in various fields, and this paper presents the implementation of a flash ADC designed for low power and high speed operation. The proposed ADC utilizes a double tail comparator design, which significantly reduces power consumption, making it suitable for digital circuits operating at ultra-low power levels. The flash ADC, employing the modified comparator, achieves a power consumption of 0.6µW and a delay of 133ps at an operational voltage of 0.6v in 16nm technology. These results highlight the potential of the flash ADC for energy-efficient electronics, particularly in IoT technologies, where minimizing power consumption is crucial.
