IEEE 1687, also known as iJTAG, was published late in 2014. Following IEEE policy, a standard need to be revisited and potentially refreshed at least every 10 years. For IEEE 1687, this refresh is not only ongoing, but close to completion. In this presentation, we will go over some of the key updates and upgrades, as well as an outlook on the remaining process to get the refreshed standard published.
