Introduction Extramedullary manifestation in the larynx is a very rare localisation of multiple myeloma. The malignant disease is categorised as a B-cell non-Hodgkin's lymphoma. A distinction is made between extramedullary plasmacytoma without bone marrow involvement and the extremely rare occurrence of the extramedullary form in the head and neck area as part of multiple myeloma.
