A lot of attention is currently being given to communication technologies such as the Internet of Things and sensor networks. These networks are used to collect environmental data, such as air quality, temperature, and humidity, which are transmitted over the network and processed. This paper presents a general description of the implementation of the sensor network based on the BLE and other protocols, used hardware and software and other components. The designed sensor network represents a robust and user-friendly network, which allows collecting measured data from sensor nodes and subsequently processing them. The network is based on the nRF52840 chipset in a cooperation with Linux-based embedded computer. Using the graphical environment, the user can configure the network, manage sensor nodes, and modify the network configuration. The sensor nodes are energy-efficient, they are capable of being powered on a battery for a long time, several years. The user can process and display the measured data in a free and open-source software service that integrates plugging and graphic services necessary for home automation monitoring.
