The Use of Electronic Testing Systems for Knowledge Control in Occupational Safety Training

The relevance of electronic testing in comparison with other forms of control and assessment of the mastery of the material covered in the discipline is considered. An analysis was carried out of 6 popular services for compiling electronic tests for students. The following characteristics were taken into account: an intuitive interface, no special knowledge to create a test, aesthetic design, no restrictions on the number of tests and students being tested, joint editing of the test with colleagues, automatic evaluation of answers and scoring, limiting attempts to pass the test, the ability to view student comments, free to use. It has been established that one of the most popular, simple, convenient online testing services is Google Forms, which not only allows you to quickly and freely create online tests of any type, but also allows the teacher to save time on collecting and processing data and provides the opportunity to access the results testing as necessary. A properly selected online service for testing students allows you to correctly evaluate the effectiveness of training programs and the learning process itself in order to adjust it. The use of information technologies in the field of occupational safety training contributes to an increase in the quality of work performed in production and a reduction in injury rates.
