This paper presents a dual-band differentially fed dual-polarized magnetoelectric (ME) dipole with second-order bandstop filtering, covering bands of 24.25–29.5GHz and 37–40GHz. To introduce two transmission zeros, hairpin and coupled λ/4 open-/short-circuited stub resonators are integrated into the ME dipole. This results in a sharp band-edge selectivity without footprint increase. The proposed antenna shows a portto-port isolation of more than 28.3dB. The measured results show lower than –24dB cross-polarization level. The measured peak gains of the single element and 2×2 array are 9.9dBi and 12.2dBi, respectively. The array presents a band rejection of 22.5dB.
