The signal jamming may pose a great threat to the performance of train positioning using Global Navigation Satellite System (GNSS) and even paralyze the normal operation of train control based on the location information. Therefore, we designed a GNSS jamming monitoring solution to enable the identification of the existence of a jamming attack. Assistant sensor data and the trackmap database, which are immune to GNSS jamming, are employed to realize the examination of GNSS measurements. By evaluating the satellite visibility condition and signal quality, an integrated monitoring solution is designed with both the local and global residual examination strategies. Experiment results using a jamming injection test platform, under the normal and Amplitude Modulation (AM) jamming scenarios, illustrate that the proposed approach is effective to reveal the influence from signal jamming in the measurement domain, which makes it possible to isolate the deteriorated GNSS measurements for the safe train positioning.
