The time has come for forensic science, which requires immediate synchronization with modern technologies in order to use the latter in the investigation, detection and prevention of crimes. Delay threatens to transform the fundamental, fundamental science of crime investigation into a parochial institute of criminal justice, used in the fight against a limited range of domestic crimes. Criminology as a science was formed due to innovative and timely discoveries that contributed to effective activities in the field of investigation and disclosure of crimes. The founders of forensic science, thanks to whom it was formed and developed, were truly innovators, perfecting forensic techniques, tactics and methods with their ideas. The achievements of the past are valuable, important and deserve respectful and respectful treatment, without them there would be no present. But the past remains in the past. The fear of leaving the past hinders the movement forward. Cybercriminals don’t leave fingerprints. Modern scientists, following the example of their great teachers, discuss modern criminology – the criminology of the future.
