The Main Forms of Permitting Activities in the Transport Security Sphere

The main theoretical and methodological approaches to the essence and content of licensing activities carried out by state bodies and their authorized entities in the field of transport security are considered, the signs of this activity are formulated. The main forms of permissive activity in this area are identified and described: accreditation carried out in relation to legal entities dealing with certification of personnel of transport security units; certification, organized in order to determine the level of qualification of employees whose responsibilities include issues of ensuring transport security; certification, conducted in order to determine compliance with the mandatory requirements of technical means used by transport security units when performing tasks assigned to them; obtaining permits for the storage, carrying and use of weapons and special means used by transport security units.
