Aims In the malignant gastric outlet obstruction (GOO), endoscopic ultrasound-guided gastroenterostomy (EUS-GE) is nowadays a well-established palliative technique in selected patients [1]. Given the successes in this patient population, EUS-GE could represent a promising strategy, with fewer adverse events compared to surgery, in selected patients with benign GOO [2].
