Factorial trial demonstrates that banana corm microorganisms enhance tuber weight in Allium ascalonicum, indicating organic amendments can boost shallot yields.
The purpose of this study was to determine the effects of chicken manure and MOL banana beetle feeding on shallot production and growth. Study This a (RAK) with design factors two. first thewas factor chicken manure at 3 levels i.e. 2 kg/plot, 3 kg/plot and 4 kg/plot and the second factor was MOL banana beetle with 3 levels i.e. 20 ml/l water, 30 ml/1 liter of water, 40 ml/1 liter of water. There were 9 treatment combinations and each treatment was repeated 3 times, resulting in 27 experimental units. The parameters measured were plant height, number of leaves, number of buds, wet weight of tubers per tuber and dry weight of tubers per tuber. Observational data were analyzed using analysis of variance (ANOVA) followed by the True Real Honest Test (BNJ). The results showed that poultry manure treatment did not affect all parameters. Chicken manure affected plant height and number of shoots, whereas MOL treatment of banana beetles had significant effects on plant height, number of shoots, wet weight and dry weight of tubers. Treatment interactions did not affect all parameters.
