This study aims to determine the intensity level of leaf blight disease caused by the pathogen Phytopthora infestans on potato plants in three villages in Gowa Regency, South Sulawesi. This research was conducted in three villages in Tinggi Moncong District. Gowa Regency, Malino, South Sulawesi, from May to August 2022. This research was conducted using a survey method, namely by observing directly in the field the intensity of leaf blight (Phytophthora infestans) on potato plants in Gowa Regency, South Sulawesi. As well as using a questionnaire and taking secondary data in the form of rainfall, temperature, and humidity data from the relevant agencies. Based on the results of research that has been carried out from the three research locations in Gowa Regency, namely the villages of Kanreapia, Buluballea and Biring Panting, it can be concluded that the attack of Phytophthora infestans pathogens varies greatly, the intensity of blight attacks caused by the highest Phytophthora infestans pathogen reaches 70% and the highest attack rate with an average intensity of 43.20% occurred in Biring Panting village. Based on the category of the level of plant disease attack, leaf blight is included in the category of severe attack. However, in general, the rate of development of leaf blight that occurred in the three study sites increased every week.
