Optimized ODF machine for large scale display filled by ferroelectric liquid crystals (FLCs) is developed. Fast FLC filling at high temperature (100°C) in the vacuum, and sealing can automatically be done in one reaction pot. An uniform cell with good alignment quality and electro‐optical (E&O) performance are achieved which shows high contrast ratio (CR) =10000 :1 and a fast response time (33 μs) at room temperature, respectively. The realized FLC cell by ODF indicates that there are no mass production barriers for large scale FLC display.
