Virtual Reality (VR) motion sickness were characterized by symptoms of directional impairment and nausea during VR experiences, which hinders the rapid advancement of Virtual Reality (VR).Traditional VR motion sickness evaluation methods based on survey questionnaires exist subjective and unreliable nature.Utilizing electroencephalography (EEG) signals for accurate and objective evaluation of VR motion sickness has become a hot area of research. In this article, we outlined process of objectively assessing VR motion sickness using EEG, covering data preprocessing, feature extraction and model construction, along with existing methods for each stage.Subsequently, a comparative analysis of each assessment model is presented, highlighting their respective strengths and weaknesses. Finally, our team provides a prospective view of future research trends in (VR) motion sickness.
