Taking the 168F diesel engine as the research object, this study investigates the optimization of engine combustion power and stability by altering the injection timing.Using a specific model of air-cooled diesel engine as an example, the study observes the combustion pressure and crankshaft deformation inside the cylinder by changing the injection timing to analyze the stability of the engine combustion process. The results indicate that an injection timing of 8.5°CA is optimal, and within the range of 8.5°CA to 48.5°CA, the engine exhibits the best combustion performance. At 38.5°CA, the peak cylinder pressure is highest, achieving the best combustion efficiency and enabling an engine speed of 2800r/min.Within the rated speed range, this improves combustion performance. The engine's crankshaft equivalent system can operate stably within the range of 2600-2800r/min, ensuring the required engine output power and torque.
