The issues of using ChatGPT and other generative artificial intelligence systems when learning a foreign language are covered in this article. Digitalization is not slowing down, and in order to remain competitive in the job market, experts across a range of industries must be able to talk freely with people from other cultures. And in order to do this, it is imperative to train experts who are adaptable, sophisticated intellectually, and technically. It is now made feasible by ChatGPT, an artificial intelligence tool. The prospects of using ChatGPT to work on various tasks in foreign language lessons—such as creating texts, finding current information, and developing speech skills in a foreign language—are examined in this article. Practical work with artificial intelligence is also shown and the difficulties of fulfilling the tasks assigned to it are revealed.
