Electronic Educational Resources as a Tool for Increasing the Effectiveness of Blended Learning: Challenges and Prospects

The constant development of the modern digital society, reinforced by the local conditions of wartime, urged the issue of organizing high-quality blended learning for future teachers. Concurrently, the difficulties of implementing the above-mentioned task were actualized at the personal level by the conditions, such as the development of new psychological qualities and properties, formation of a different type of thinking and perception, professional competence, and level of culture (both general and business). Considering the importance of the influence of innovations on the activity of teachers of higher education institutions prompts the need to involve them in the process of professional training to erase the set of contradictions between the requirements for the specified profession and the level of training of the graduate. We strongly believe that providing the latter with an appropriate level of competence and psychological readiness to perform a whole range of professional tasks is possible by involving innovative teaching aids and high-tech electronic educational resources in the educational process. The resources listed above make it possible to create a real contextual professional field. At this level, the future teacher can "dive" into the world of complex practically centered tasks. Today, all electronic educational resources are distinguished by the criteria of contextuality, operability, and technology, which makes it possible to improve them according to the innovative changes that come with new generations. It is this feature, from a practical point of view, that makes it possible to meet new needs and requests of the educational environment from an innovative and technological standpoint. There is now an urgent need for the formation of full-fledged educational modules with expanded possibilities for their use on various platforms of mobile devices. For the target audience of students, such modules should be a wide educational space presented by an ordered spectrum of knowledge from a specific academic discipline, which is available for independent work of learners at any convenient time. It is worth noting the fact that the value of such electronic educational resources was emphasized even during the COVID-19 pandemic and has been updated by the current realities of wartime on the territory of our country. Regarding this, today, it is extremely difficult to ensure safe conditions for students of all educational levels in the classrooms of higher education institutions at the regional level. This "triggered" the need to use mixed-education higher education institutions to achieve the set educational goals among a wide target audience of students.
