This study addresses the critical topic of emergency management on the field of play during sports events. Ensuring athlete safety and effective response to medical emergencies are of paramount importance in sports medicine. The main objective of this study is to equip medical professionals and sports medicine specialists with the necessary knowledge and skills to handle medical emergencies in sports settings. The study aims to explore best practices and guidelines for emergency care during sporting events. This study utilizes an interactive and dynamic design, providing exercises and simulations of real-life emergency scenarios. Participants engage in activities to practice emergency response techniques and apply theoretical knowledge in practical situations. The study is set in a sports-oriented clinical setting, encompassing various levels of competition, such as youth sports, high school leagues, elite divisions, and potentially professional sports events. Participants in the study include medical professionals, sports medicine specialists, and emergency care workers who are involved in the management of medical emergencies on the field during sports events. The study focuses on training interventions and protocols for medical emergency response during sporting events. The primary outcome measures of the study include the assessment of participants' knowledge, skills, and confidence in handling medical emergencies on the field. The presentation aims to gauge the effectiveness of the interventions and training in improving emergency response capabilities. The study highlights the effectiveness of the presentation in enhancing the participants' preparedness and ability to manage medical emergencies during sports events. The findings demonstrate a positive impact on knowledge acquisition and application. Based on the data collected, the workshop concludes that specialized training and hands-on practice significantly contribute to better emergency management on the field of play. Participants are better equipped to handle medical crises, leading to improved athlete safety and well-being during sports events.
