The article reveals the necessity and effectiveness of the methodology of teaching future teachers of fine arts, artists and designers the laws and rules of constructing perspective images, the theoretical foundations of drawing perspective projections, as well as various methods and techniques of perspective composite images on the picture plane and the use of the acquired competencies in the process of performing various creative compositions in traditional and computer drawing and painting. Perspective is an applied science of fine arts that is singled out as an independent subject at faculties that train fine arts teachers, artists, and designers. The knowledge gained in the process of studying this subject is intended to help an artist-teacher, designer in working on a drawing, painting, or composition of a picture. Without knowledge of perspective, a realistic depiction of various objects is impossible. Therefore, perspective is the theoretical basis of fine arts. The main purpose of perspective is to create images of surrounding objects on the picture plane close to their visual perception. The ability to use perspective makes it possible not only to freely draw objects from nature, but also to reproduce them from memory in the process of creating various compositions in traditional and computer drawing and painting. The study of perspective involves the acquisition of knowledge, skills and abilities to construct in space the perspective of flat and three-dimensional forms of various objects, interiors and exteriors, as well as personal and falling shadows, reflections in flat mirrors. The study of perspective develops skills in depicting various spatial compositions. Perspective is one of the main subjects of fine arts education in the training of qualified art teachers, artists and designers. A modern art teacher, artist, and designer must master the theory of depicting various spatial forms on a plane and apply the acquired knowledge in the practice of traditional and computer drawing and painting.
