In order to meet the requirements of large-scale production lines, a machine vision inspection system with inner and outer dimensions was developed. High precision detection of workpiece boundary based on polynomial interpolation algorithm is studied, and rapid and accurate extraction of inner and outer diameter of product image is realized by re-filtering after sharp. Experiments show that the method has the advantages of no contact, on-line real-time, fast speed and high precision. It has good field anti-jamming ability and can achieve the purpose of no waste manufacturing.
